Name: Harris Age: 197 human years (roughly about 17 in demon years) Birthday: June 4th Occupation: Guardian of La Fortüna Favorite past-time: Leering at cute university girls About Harris: Harris is the imp guardian familiar of La Fortüna patisserie. He was originally summoned by the wizard Leó Oakstar in 1904 to serve as a protector for the Oakstar family and their household. Caprill Oakstar, the wife of Harris’ master, opened a magical bakery on the campus of her old alma mater, the Interdimensional Institute for the Education of Arcane Arts with one of the magic baking books she had acquired. Caprill owned the bakery for 72 years when her great granddaughter Mima took over the family business. Mima had been a student at the IIEAA and stepped into the highly pressured job of the bakery manager with ease with the help of her grandmother and Harris. Recently, Mima had passed away from a rare sickness leaving the Oakstar family without an heir. Mima had willed the bakery to her best friend Inessa Klein in the event that anything should happen to her. Bound until the bakery is destroyed or his binding released, Harris had patiently remained waiting at the bakery for his new owner but she never came. He was just about to give up when the rights of the bakery were passed on to yet a new owner-- a non-witch girl named Miel Fitzpatrick. Harris, now bounded to the new owner, is not sure how much he likes her from initial contact. She seems like a ditz to him… but at least she’s cute to look at. Harris is an impetuous young domovoi type imp who still has a lot to learn about being a demon and a witch’s familiar. Because he was bound to the family as a child, he has become used to living in the sight of humans and thinks nothing of mingling with them. He’s usually loud mouthed and resistant, but he’s just being a rebel in a normal teenage fashion. He’s always given the Oakstar family some impish troubles, but for the most part remains helpful. He has strong ties to the Oakstar family and he had always been considered as one of their own children. Now that he is no longer in the care of the Oakstar family however, Harris has become a little more unwieldy. He only cares for La Fortüna since it is his only link to the Oakstars and will protect it with his life. As for his new master, he could take her or leave her. Harris is well known to older customers of La Fortüna because he had served there as a waiter when Caprill and Mima ran the show. He generally appreciates all the customers but has a particularly strong hate for one customer, a young sorcerer named Rhetoric Cardinal. Cardinal has done nothing but help Mima with the bakery but Harris never liked Cardinal because of his closeness with Mima (Harris was jealous) and his profession as a demon hunter. Cardinal and Harris would often threaten each other and Harris secretly wishes some horrible evil would befall Cardinal, as most likely Cardinal wishes upon Harris too. So far Harris’ wishes have gone unanswered, but that doesn’t deter him from trying more. In Mima’s absence Harris has been free of Cardinal’s presence, but to his dismay with the re-opening of the bakery, Cardinal has once again started coming around proving to be the bane of Harris’ life.

Creator's comments: Harris was four years in the making. He had originally started as a hand made sculpey clay figure, but I opted to upgrade him when I realize he'd have to last me much longer and that he didn't actually look so cool when I finished him. Hahaha. But now that he's completed, I think the four years are justified. I lubs my Harris. <3
