About Kafka: Kafka was
once a stray cat, scavenging constantly for food and getting into more than
his share of fights with other stray animals.
A while ago, he was having a hard time scavenging for food and was near starvation
when a young lady found him on her back porch. She brought him inside her house
and fed him and nursed him back to health. At that point she named him Kafka
and put a collar on him, claiming ownership over him. She told him that as long
as he stays as her cat, he'd never have to worry about being hungry again. While
he loved fresh milk, the soft lap and the loving pets, Kafka yearned to be outside.
Finally after insisting to be let out (yeowling and scratching up the furniture)
he was thrown back outside.
To show his appreciation to his owner, he caught a nice red cardinal
and left it on the porch as a gift. However he only got a scolding and a bell
around his neck to scare away the birds as a result of his gift. Rather pleased
with his shiny new bell, he left a blue jay for his owner as a thanks.
A little while later, Kafka noticed through the sliding glass backdoor that
there was a new white fuzzy kitten tromping around in the house. At first Kafka
felt very threatned by the little kitten but soon figured out there was nothing
to be worried about. Kafka would sit by the backdoor and watch the kitten play
inside for hours, amused at how silly the kitten was.
When the kitten was allowed outside for the first time, he ran off and got himself
into quite a rut with the stray cat next door. Kafka quickly rescued the kitten
and scolded him, letting him know that he'd have to stick close by if he wanted
to be safe outside. Scared stiff, the kitten agreed not to leave the black cat's
side while outside.
While he's still fairly young, the Black Kitty is a lot wiser than most cats his age. Although he's very serious, he's rather calm and laidback and enjoys sprawling out in the grass on hot afternoons.
Creator's comments: I wanted to make another black kitty doll like Leocadia... I was going to make a sexy girly kitty but then I thought-- why do all the kitty dolls hafta be girls? So I made a sexy boy kitty instead. I think he is by far my most favorite doll because I love cats, I love black, I love male dolls and he's scantily clad!!! You just can't beat that combo!
