About Tangie: Tangie comes from a family with old money in Dallas, Texas.   Her father is a doctor and her mother is an accountant.  Tangie has one older brother, Avery, who has since moved out of the house and started a family of his own.

Tangie grew up in private catholic schools, making good grades while keeping a reputation as a party girl.  She was popular in school, always running with the “in-crowd” but she was always considered a borderline member, often clashing with the girl who was the leader.  Because Tangie is the type of girl who could make friends with everyone, she fell in well with the jocks and cheerleaders as well as the artsy people and the losers who hung out behind the school and surprisingly she also had many good nerd friends.  Tangie was a jack-of-all-trades and dabbled in a little of everything.  It made it really easy for her to relate to people and establish friendships.  Above all, Tangie was a born leader and an honest, straightforward girl who treated her friends as they treated her.  She is a strong believer of the “eye for an eye” belief.  In that respect, she was easy to read and easy to get along with, even for the snobby people. Despite being a party girl, she was a good student who kept her priorities.  She was a straight A student, and graduated in the top 5% of her class.

Tangie moved to Austin, Texas to attend a small private university, studying fashion design and theatre.  There, in her Freshman Studies class, she met a girl who stole her heart.  Miel had just moved to Austin from a small mountain town in West Virginia and was having a difficult time adjusting to city life as well as university.  Tangie was enamored with how sweet Miel was and wanted to be her friend so badly that she went way out of her way to help Miel in every little thing she could.  Eventually they became best friends.  Tangie loved how fresh-faced and naïve Miel was and Miel really appreciated how Tangie was so assertive of herself and of Miel.  They have been inseparable since.

Ever since she was little, Tangie has loved to sew and create her own clothes.  She sewed for her dolls, she sewed for her bears, and she sewed for herself in middle school.  In high school, she began to design her own clothes.  Often times, she and her friends would sport her fashions too.  Tangie was always electic and edgy with her fashion.  Everyone imagined Tangie would break into the fashion industry one day as a designer.

Tangie always believed she had a 6th sense about fashion because she would have sudden clear and vivid visions of outfits while day-dreaming or sleeping.  She was always scribbling down an idea she had.  So when her best friend Miel was enrolled in the Interdimensional Institute for the Education of Arcane Arts, Tangie quickly followed along.  She applied and was tested and found she had a strong latent psychic ability which explained her sudden visions of fashion.

Tangie was psyched.  She always believed in things like magic and now to be accepted into a super secret school, as she called it, to hone magic skills was the top for her.  She is eager to see what her four years at the IIEAA will bring her.

Creator's comments: Tangie was created specifically to be Miel's best friend. She immediately had a personality of her own as soon as I created her. She's one of my favorite female dolls.
