Photo Editing Tutorial: Edging Photos

2. Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool
Start at one corner of your image. Click and drag to the opposite corner to create a box that will serve as your border's edge. When you are finished you should have an active selection ("the dancing ants line") as shown above.
