The Elegant Collection series features doll bodies that are seamless with no joints. They're a gumby type of body with wire armature inside that allows the body to bend at any point and be posed in various positions. This body is excellent for displaying exposing outfits such as bathing suits or lingerie. Depending on the body, there are different levels of posability. These bodies do not come with a skin head, so make sure when you purchase one, you already have a head or buy a head for it. They are available in New Beige, Beauty White and Brown skintones.
There are 4 different types of Elegant dolls: Prototype, Normal, Slender and Mini. Click on a body for a more in depth view of the body.
Because of the gumby body, these bodies pick up dust and lint very quickly. Some maintenence is required to keep these bodies looking nice. An occassional water rinse with mild soap will keep the body looking new. Dry the body off with a paper towel or air dry; a regular cloth towels will only put more lint on the body so those are not recommended to use. Also, putting on tight fitting clothing can also be a hassle since the clothes will most definitely catch on the rubber. It's recommended to sprinkle a little baby powder on the body to ease on clothing.
