In 2002 Volks introduced the Dollfie Plus series. The Plus series was used to introduce the new "skin head'. This skin head is made of a hard plastic urethane with eye holes molded into it to use with glass eyes and wigs, similiar to a Super Dollfie.

Soon after, Volks changed the hard plastic urethane to a softer urethane. The heads are not as soft as regular vinyl heads. They have a good amount of sheen to the face and some water based acrylic paints have difficulty sticking to it.

The Plus body has 15 points of articulation. The shoulders are wider than any other female doll Volks has. The torso is also a "twist and turn" type and does not bend forward or backwards at the waist.

The Dollfie Plus is available in New Beige, Beauty White and Brown skintones.
