CMH Ashley

I got a new doll!

Yay! Century Model Homme Ashley. Finally busted him outta dollfie jail, the trouble maker.
He wears pleather and suede, a very nice combo. He comes with a pack of smokes, 1 cig and a silver zippo lighter… 2 pairs of extra hands and 1 cupped hand (for shielding his flame when he lights up??)

Despite spending all that money on him, there’s several things that need touching up on him. #1 thing is that stupid eyelid crease that’s waaaaay off on his right eye. Dunno what the heck happened there. Dude musta sneezed when he was airbrushing it on. I’m gonna hafta remove that and repaint it before I go nuts. His hair also needs to be trimmed. They curled it but the ends are still straight. So that’s coming off.
Gaaah I just lah-ve his juju lips! ♥ You know you lah-ve it too.

Look, he knows he’s got the stuff. His shirt is made out of an expensive fabric, I was most impressed. It’s a type of suede. I bought a 1/4 of a yard of it at the fabric store to make doll boots from and almost had a heart attack. 1 yard of it cost $32!!! YIKES!

His boots are really nice too. They’re the shoe boutique kind. Big ol fat zipper in the back though. You’d think they start using the tiny zippers like on the Takara boots =_=
Look! He can hold his cig!

And he plays well with others!… He looks so much older compared to poor Keisuke. “Kid, you ain’t got nothing on me.”

Skin tone and hand size difference. He’s got prettier hands, that’s for sure. Not so uh… testosterone-y. His ring also comes off. It’s very nice.

Now the feet, I gotta complain. What the heck kinda stubs are those?? Granted they’re made to fit those shoes, but they did so well on the hands, why did they do that to the feet? Ah well. Can’t win em all.

Despite the few complaints I had, I really like him. He’s a whole lot better than the Lost Angels boy dolls that Kyon did last year. Ashley is definitely Century Model quality. Just his accessories, clothing, and fabric choice alone is well worth the higher price tag he has. As a total package, I’m very pleased with him and I recommend him (or any other Century Model for that matter).
