I repainted a Takara Angel Garden Lillian. I’ve always liked her, which is funny cuz I usually HATE that really big headed type of head mold with that goofy smile… But for some reason I didn’t mind Lillian’s mold. The eyes I’ve painted are the biggest I’ve ever painted on a doll! They are really huge. Anyways. Sherri let me use some of her new brushes… I’m trying to get used to them because I seriously need new brushes. So I did Lillian with em. Halfway through though, I got frustrated with em and went back to my raggedy 30/0. I should just trash the 30/0 so I’m forced to use the new brushes. The ones that Sherri had were only 18/0. They do get fine lines because they’re new, but… the bristles are too long and I have real trouble controlling them right now. I do need to get used to these though because these are the only real fine brushes I have available to me any longer. When I get used to these, I will move on to them and then paint those heads I owe everyone. Getting used to new types of paintbrushes really sucks… but I’ve done it so many times, it’s really rather sad. *cries* I miss my 30/0 already!!!
