Well there’s my attempts at making speedos for my boys. =_= The black that Hisoka is wearing was something I had… dunno where I got it from. But the elastic at the waistband showed and overall wasn’t very attractive so I wanted to make another very similar to it. The way it’s sewn together was kinda funky so I devised another way of sewing.
Keisuke’s wearing my 1st attempt. It’s put together kind of crappy and the pattern turned out slightly big because I didn’t account for the stretchy material. But it works. The navy one that Ashley has one was my 2nd attempt (he’s so pale, it’s embarrassing… he must swim at an indoor pool). Fits very nicely but the fabric got bulky on the sides where the seams were and therefore it kinda jutts out. Now I know why Hisoka’s was sewn the way it was. The seam is at the crotch and up the middle of the backside instead of on the hips. I also tried to paint a little Speedo brand on Ashley’s swimsuit. It was tough considering that that fabric soaked up the paint like water. It resembles it enough to know what it’s supposed to be. Oh well. That’s enough speedos for me today.

And I was soooo close to making a tangerine one but I talked myself out of it. 😛
